I am a big fan of frameworks. For that reason, I’ve started to outline parameters that will help me operate. Most of my professional experience is in the Design Development and Construction Document phases. However, from the experience I do have with conceptual design, I’ve noticed clients always want to skip forward before identifying what the “Problem” is. The diagram to the left was created to help organize my thoughts and approach to bridging the gap between the incipient stage of project and schematic design.
