Today I sketched my house. I think every designer who owns a home should spend time studying what makes their home special to them. For me it’s the amalgam of the dutch colonial style and the classic Pittsburgh awnings, the richness of the colors and how they tie in with the fall and the appearance of the forested canopy beyond the fence.
